Pepper has babies - June 25, 2005

At around 11:30am PST the first of what seems to be 7 or 8 babies started to make their appearence. So far, mommy Pepper and babies seem to be doing very nicely.

Fluffy Hamster - December 14, 2004 to May 7, 2005

We here at the hamster habitat are said to report that Fluffy Hamster was one of 4 hamsters that died over the weekend as a result of a wet-tail outbreak. Fluffy, Spice, and two new hamsters were among those that did not survive this outbreak. Fluffy was our first hamster here at the habitat, and was the one that showed us the most about what being a hamster meant. She has a very 'motherly' attitude, always helping to look out for the new hamsters, although none ov her own babies aver survived. She along with the others will be missed.

Ben and Tammy join the team
You may soon catch a view of two of our newest hamster arrivals, Ben and Tammy! Ben is a male, white and light brown long-hair syrian.

And tammy is a female all tan long-hair syrian.
Tammy is also our first solid color syrian. Unlike Fluffy, Fozzy, and Spice, both new hamsters will be staying in there own little homes in the hopes that will help to promote better child raising skills.

A Note from Fluffy:
Hi! We love all the new attention we have been getting lately. But please remember that we are still hamsters, and we love the night. So many times between 11pm and 6am PST we like to have our owner turn out the lights so we can scamper about unseen.
